Deluxe Passion Tea "Lemonade"

Once upon a time, when I had my luncheonette, I would make a Deluxe Sweet Tea. Hot days call for sweet tea. It’s cool, refreshing and perfect for quenching your summertime thirst.

But being me, I had to be a bit extra. So I would make my sweet tea and then turn it into Deluxe Sweet Tea by adding a scoop of raspberry sorbet to it. If you want to know what heaven on earth is like, you should really try that out.

Since I love to explore though I wanted to try something a little different for this summer though. I’m not a big coffee drinker, but I do pop into Starbucks from time to time. When I do, I get the Passion Tea Lemonade. It got me thinking…what if I tried the same concept with Passion Tea instead of regular tea and added a scoop of lemon sorbet?

Let’s just say this is going to be your new go-to drink of the summer. It’s a great recipe because you can make as much as you want, perfect for a summertime backyard barbecue, or to stash in your fridge for when you need something more Deluxe.

For every cup of water I boiled, I used 1 Tazo Passion Tea bag. Then, I sweetened it to my liking and let it cool. Once cooled, it was time to drop that scoop of lemon sorbet in there. Making sure the tea is cool is the key because if not, that scoop of sorbet will melt and won’t have the same amazing effect. I can’t wait for you to try it. I know you’re going to have the best summer ever with these in your hand!
